Cleveland is where this story begins. All Media Design Group (AMDG), a Cleveland-based ad agency, partnered with USA Insulation in 1998. At the time, USA Insulation was a well-regarded insulation provider operating across Ohio — in Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, and Cincinnati — but it remained a regional brand with no national footprint.

Through a relationship rooted in trust and shared values, AMDG founder Dan Traci and USA Insulation owner Jeff Pitrone worked side by side to transform the company. By 2006, together they launched the USA Insulation franchise model, laying the groundwork for national expansion. What followed was nearly two decades of partnership that saw USA Insulation grow into one of the most recognized insulation franchises in the country.

Challenge

By 2003, USA Insulation had proven its success in Ohio. The company’s proprietary foam insulation and dedication to customer service made it a local leader. First expanding from its lone Eastlake location to Akron, then Columbus, and beyond.

But expansion beyond state lines presented challenges:

  • Brand recognition was limited outside Ohio markets.

  • Digital Advertising – Evolved with the times, adding paid search and programmatic campaigns.
  • Direct Mail & Print – Billboards, direct mail, and local print advertising helped franchisees gain visibility in their communities.
  • Creative & Strategy – Maintained a consistent, recognizable brand nationwide while tailoring campaigns to local markets.
